18 mar 2017 · Hi everyone, I am trying to do an HEI distributor upgrade to my 1989 YJ. It has the AMC 258 and I'm trying to figure out which wire to use for the tachometer. The original distributor connector has 3 wires which are orange, violet, and black.

8 sty 2015 · The red wire from the back of the alternator is connected to the starter relay as well on its own wire with a fusible link. Howell EFI: white wire coming from the throttle body (was connected to the coil before the HEI conversion) is now connected to a green wire that comes from the tach.
