8 gru 2011 · Yep, my '95 2.5l has d30 & c8.25 with 4.10 gears. The TJ's have them but they also have a low pinion d30. It will bolt right in place of yours but they are less desireable. And I have found several 8.25's with 4:10 gears from 4 cylinder XJ's.

15 lip 2014 · I have a 1990 XJ with a AW4 and plan on going with 33x10.5x15 tires. From everything I have read with the stock 4.0 4.56 gears are the best overall gears. Would this change with a mild stroker?
21 gru 2016 · I've read a million threads with such discussions and many people say that 4.10 gears are perfect for the auto, while others say to gear down to 4.56 for the extra power. I'm looking for anyone who has either combo to chime in...
