12 paź 2010 · Patch 4.0.1 was the systems patch for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. This patch did not include Cataclysm features such as the two new races, world changes, quests, and new zones.
Warlord's Command. This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed. Slay Highlord Omokk, War Master Voone, and Overlord Wyrmthalak. Recover Important Blackrock Documents. Return to Warlord Goretooth in Kargath when the mission has been accomplished. Overlord Wyrmthalak slain.
The glyph system has been updated to now feature three different types of glyphs. Many class glyphs have been added, altered, or moved to different glyph types. User Interface. Spell Alerts have been added to notify players when procs on select spells and abilities occur.
The quests [80] Defend the Siege and Stop the Siege from Lake Wintergrasp have been changed to a weekly format. All Arena Points, old Honor points, Battleground Marks of Honor, [Stone Keeper's Shard] s, [Venture Coin] s, and [Spirit Shard] s have been converted into new Honor points.
On September 7 (8 in Europe), the first pre-Cataclysm quest chains were released to live servers, in the Dun Morogh and Durotar zones. A few days later, Patch 4.0.1 was released to public test realms, indicating that a release date might be in the not-too-distant future.
Blizzard Entertainment posted the 4.0.1 Patch Notes detailing most of the Cataclysm framework, major class and talents changes, and new user interfaces.
