The Sacramento History Museum provides live online versions of our in-person programs. Virtual Programs are scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, but contact us if you need a different day. The Sacramento Valley Museum is home to over 16,000 square feet of exhibition space which houses collections containing history that represent the Sacramento Valley from the mid 19th through the mid 20th century.
There’s so much more to see including displays of how life was in the mid 19th and mid 20th centuries. A wonderful small town museum full of displays and knowledge. Even the staircases have a special history - follow the rules. The docents are very knowledgeable about the history and present of their little river town. Look for the unwanted birds in the trees!
