The Sacramento River Trail is one of the greatest gems in Northern California. It is now paved all the way from the amazing Sundial Bridge for 18 miles all the way to the Shasta Dam. You can do a loop by crossing the suspension walking bridge just below Keswick Dam and return on the other side of the river.
