Schools are required to provide students at least two grades in each subject each term: an interim grade and a final grade. A student’s final grade represents the work a student completed throughout the subject and their level of proficiency at the end of the subject.

To convert a raw score (e.g., 12/16) to a percentage, first divide the number of points earned by the total possible points: Percentage = (Points Earned / Total Possible Points) x 100. For example, 12/16 would be: Percentage = (12 / 16) x 100 = 75%
A score of 4 out of 6 on a test, assignment or class is a 66.67% percentage grade. 2 questions were wrong or points missed. A 66% is a D letter grade. A letter grade D means less than satisfactory or below average performance. The teacher may round up the 66.67% to a 67% for a D+ letter grade.
All courses marked numerically use sixty five percent (65%) as the minimum passing grade. All such courses are computed in class rank and grade point average determination. This includes any high school course taken in eighth grade. Final averages are computed as follows: Full Year Courses. Final Class Average 80% Final Examination 10%
