Wipe outside surfaces with clean damp cloth soaked in solution. Follow applicable instructions for cleaning and disinfecting solutions. Do not allow liquid to reach the pre-filter.
Remove cartridges and filters. Clean facepiece (excluding filters) by immersing in warm cleaning solution, the water temperature should not exceed 50o C, and scrub with soft brush until clean. Add neutral detergent if necessary. Do not use cleaners containing lanolin or other oils.
This hard case can be cleaned by wiping the outside surface with a damp cloth soaked in disinfecting solution until visibly wet for the appropriate contact time and then removing the disinfecting solution with a clean, water-soaked cloth and air drying.
If cleaning to remove gross soil before disinfection, clean all parts of the M-Series assembly with a clean soft cloth dampened with warm water containing a mild pH neutral (pH 6-8) detergent (refer to specific product User Instructions for water temperature guidance).
Wipe the headgear with a clean soft cloth dampened with one of the disinfectant cleaners listed above (sodium hypochlorite at a free chlorine concentration of 5,000 ppm, or 70% ethyl alcohol). Follow the user instructions for the selected disinfectant.
1) Clean all parts of the headgear assembly with a clean soft cloth dampened with warm ~49 °C (120 °F) water containing a mild pH neutral (pH 6-8) detergent. Refer to the headgear specific User Instructions for cleaning details.
Cleaning procedure (If mask is contaminated with secretions please discard immediately with the filters – no cleaning to be undertaken) • Remove mask and place into a yellow clinical waste bag in the doffing area. • Doffing buddy (still wearing full PPE) to remove filters and clean with Chlorclean.
