28 wrz 2024 · This is a 3DS port of Rubberduckycooly's decompilation of the mobile versions of Sonic 1 and 2. On a New 3DS they run at full speed almost all of the time outside of special stages. Special stages are playable, but run at a low frame rate.
The game cleverly blends the old-school 2D side-scrolling style with newer 3D action, making it appealing to longtime fans and newcomers alike. You play as both Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic, racing through iconic levels from the series’ history to save their world from a mysterious enemy.
Sonic 1 & 2. This is a port of Sonic 1 and 2 to the 3DS, based on Rubberduckycooly's Sonic 1/2 (2013) decompilation. A New 3DS is required for these games to play smoothly. Note: You will need the assets from the official releases to run this decompilation.
As Sonic the Hedgehog, the player embarks on a journey to collect the Chaos Emeralds and stop Robotnik. Sonic 2 introduces the spin dash, which allows the player to curl while stationary for a speed boost, and Miles “Tails” Prower, a fox with two tails who acts as Sonic’s sidekick.
28 wrz 2024 · Hi there. Today, I'm happy to share with you all a newer, up-to-date 3DS Port of the Sonic CD (2011) decompilation project by Rubberduckycooly and others. It uses Citro3D for the graphics backend, SDL 1.2 for the audio backend, among the usual dependencies. Runs full speed on both O3DS and N3DS!
Sonic 3 Complete is a rom hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles that is known for being one of the definitive versions of the game. The hack has plenty of bug fixes, a new options menu, etc. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 takes place on the mysterious Floating Island which holds many special powers. The source of these powers are Chaos Emeralds.
