The Springfield Armory XD is a series of semi-automatic pistols produced by Springfield Armory, Inc., along with follow-on variants: XD-M, XD-S, and XD-E. [1] Polymer-framed and predominantly striker-fired, the series is manufactured by HS Produkt in Karlovac, Croatia.
The XD® is offered in a range of sizes, ranging from full-size with 4″ and 5″ barrels down to Sub-Compacts with 3″ barrels. From its steel three-dot sights, integral grip safeties, rugged polymer frames and tough Melonite® finish, the XD® series is ready for CCW or duty carry.
