17 kwi 2014 · My experience too. I have a 96 made in mexico 350. Runs very strong and reliable. Changed cam, lifters, intake and carb with 2-1/2 exhaust and chinese HEI. I will never go as far as to believe they will run like a BBC, but its very scrappy on the street.
