Stainless Steel Tube Pressure Rating Charts. 1 - For higher pressures, see please contact Titan Fittings. 2 - Rating based on repeated pressure testing with a 4:1 design factor based upon hydraulic fluid leakage.
Pressure Rating Table for Stainless Steel Tube. Stainless Steel Grade TP304 and TP316 Tube. AS 4041 design pressures at ambient temperature. Seamless tube certified to ASTM A 213M or A269. Welded tube certified to ASTM A249M (weld joint factor must be applied). Design Pressures (MPa) IMPORTANT: Refer to the associated notes to this table on page 1.
4 lis 2012 · Allowable pressure for standard seamless A312-TP316/316L stainless steel pipes - temperatures 100 o F to 750 o F. Ratings for standard seamless stainless steel pipes, temperatures ranging 100 o F to 750 o F. All ratings in psig based on ANSI/ASME B 31.1.
Grade 304 and 316 design pressures are only valid at temperatures above 538°C if carbon content is 0.04% or higher. Allowable working pressures are given in megapascals (MPa). Conversions to other units are: Limitation of Liability.
The ultimate tensile strength of 70,000 psi for 304 and 316 Stainless Steel Tubing between –20°F to 100°F and a Safety Factor of 1 have been used to calculate the tabulated burst pressures. The END USER is responsible for selecting an appropriate Safety Factor for the particular application.
Table 4—Metric Stainless Steel Seamless Tubing. Allowable working pressures are calculated from an S value of 138 MPa (20 000 psi) for EN ISO 1127 tubing (D4, T4 tolerance for 3 to 12 mm; D4, T3 tolerance 14 to 50 mm), at –28 to 37°C (–20 to 100°F), as listed in ASME B31.3, except as noted.
T304/L, T316/L and T317L A269 tubing for temperatures between -20F and 100F. All pressure ratings are approximate and for illustration purposes only. Values are not guaranteed or warranted. PACSTAINLESS.COM.
