24 lip 2019 · I am using a predator 314-3 shaft on my lucsaci butt, for about two months now. pretty happy with the way it hits and plays. going to try a Zan hybrid tip as soon as I can get to my guy to install the new tip. but I keep reading and hearing all about the revo 12.9 shaft.
I have ordered but have decided to cancel the order for the predator 314-3 that I was gonna put on my players cue. The reason is, I'm seeing for like $100 more I can get a meucci cue with a "the pro" shaft and overall I'll still be at an upgrade to my current cue. Any thoughts? Would I be better off with the 314-3?
Predator wood shafts are great (not so much the Revo - Revo feels DEAD). If you don't want the tip diameter to go below 12.75mm, the 314-3 is a great option. The Z-3 is 11.80mm.

I can post videos of me hitting a breakrac 100 times with a predator shaft and won't have an issue. Can it happen, sure in rare cases. Is it likely to happen, no. Predator even warranties the shafts if broken during a break shot.
