5 kwi 2016 · My hands-down favorite for 150s is CFE223 (MR2000). It is good with 165s, too, but for them I prefer Re15 and Varget. 4064 and 4895 are also good, but not as good as the others in my rifles. It is hard to find a bad powder for the .308.

Temperature ranges from below freezing to 100+ degrees: stick powder, Hodgdon Extreme or IMR Enduron powders.
