30 kwi 2010 · A new version of iPhone OS – the firmware or software that powers iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch had been released by Apple. The new iPhone OS 3.1.3 features a couple of minor updates aimed to improve battery life and includes bug fixes.
Plug your iPhone 2G in to your PC. Open iTunes, and navigate to your iPhone 2G. Hold the Shift key on your keyboard, and press "Restore". Select the iPhone1,1_3.1.3_7E18_Restore.ipsw file that you downloaded. Wait for the restore to complete, and the iPhone 2G to reboot.
