Do you know how i fixed my 2Wire modem dropouts? By turning it off and plugging in another modem and using it. The 2Wire modem is a piece of junk for any connection with a bit of noise/attenuation. To fix your 2Wire modem dropouts permanently throw it in the tip or sell it on eBay.
