2N® 2Wire is a set of two convertor units that lets you connect any IP device installed at locations with no IP infrastructure to your network. Connect the device, such as an IP intercom, to one unit and a switch to the other unit.
Translates a local network’s IP address to an external address maintained by the 2Wire gateway, effectively “hiding” the existence of a home network to the Internet. The 2Wire gateway then uses this external address to communicate with the Internet on behalf of devices connected to the local network.
Use the network adapter configuration software or Windows network connection wizard to set the network name (SSID) and encryption key (WEP). The network name is the word “2WIRE” (in all capital letters), followed by the last three digits of the gateway serial number (for example, 2WIRE110).
