1859/1864, published in 2006, covers both the 1859 Second Italian War of Independence and the 1864 Second Schleswig War. The former was a brief war (the operations spanned just over one month) that culminated in one of the largest battles of the 19th century: Solferino.

31 mar 2020 · Martin Smith has done it again, this time trying a tweaked version of my PORTABLE WARGAME rules to fight a battle set during the Schleswig-Holstein War. He used ACW Confederate troops to represent the Danes, and ACW Union troops for the Prussians, and the battle was fought on a 10 x 10 squared grid.

1864: On To Jutland covers one of the 19th century’s least known conflicts, a brutal struggle for Schleswig and the Jutland peninsula as Denmark attempts to retain her holdings in Germany. The game is a quick playing, no-frills simulation which uses an odds-based Combat Result Table and Artillery Fire Table with a d10 roll to process combat.
