There are a couple other easy-to-find ways to get into the service menu on RCA sets, but this way took some digging and a long time to find so I wanted to share it here for some more exposure. Turn the instrument on. Press and hold the VOL - button. a. Press and release the POWER button. b. Press and release the MENU button.
Enter the service mode (S-Mode) by pressing the VOL- UME DOWN key on the instrument until the volume decreases to minimum. Press the INFO key on the remote handset while holding the VOLUME DOWN key on the instrument.

You can set your TV to receive local TV channels (from an antenna) or Cable TV channels (when you have Cable TV service). Then, use Auto Search to set up channels that are available for you. This makes it easy for you to select only the available TV stations when you press CH+ or CH-.
20 sty 2021 · I used to calibrate CRT sets back in the early 90's and each manufacture has their own access procedure to get into the service mode. I did mostly Sony's and Mitsubishi's. With most sets, the service mode parameters are similar. I don't know the codes for Sanyo's.
