I can confirm it works on the model 27R410T, but apparently it works for multiple RCA sets from the early 2000s. There are a couple other easy-to-find ways to get into the service menu on RCA sets, but this way took some digging and a long time to find so I wanted to share it here for some more exposure.
25 lip 2006 · Does anyone know the way to change the horizontal size of the screen and to get into the service menu. I tried doing the steps above but all it does is bring up my regular menu.
Auto Search (Setting TV Channels) You can set your TV to receive local TV channels (from an antenna) or Cable TV channels (when you have Cable TV service). Then, use Auto Search to set up channels that are available for you.
Enter the service mode (S-Mode) by pressing the VOL- UME DOWN key on the instrument until the volume decreases to minimum. Press the INFO key on the remote handset while holding the VOLUME DOWN key on the instrument.
If you need to access the service menu of your set, check the service manual for specific instructions on how to access it. If you can't locate the service manual, try some of the general patterns below for your brand.

4 lis 2006 · I have had an RCA 27" TruFlat TV for 3+ years and recently I have been noticing some serious overscan issues. Does anyone have the directions on how to access the service menu in order to save me from calling out a RCA Technician?
