24 paź 2024 · 1. Sony PVM-14M2U. VIEW PRICING ON EBAY. The Sony PVM-14M2U is without a doubt the best of the best CRT TVs for retro gaming. Just look at this thing; apart from being the classic Instagrammable piece of kit for your set up, it’s built to last and is an absolute workhorse.
First off: AVOID EBAY. Any consumer CRT TV you find on eBay is going to be overpriced, and there is a very high likelihood that it will be damaged beyond repair in shipping.
Looking to get a nice CRT TV for retro gaming (mostly n64 using S-video), and trying to figure which brand is best for this. Some of the brands I've seen posted for my area are Panasonic, Magnavox, Sanyo, and Durabrand.
My passion for CRT TVs doesn't allow me to just drive by units that are tossed to the curb the day before trash day, so I picked up this RCA F27442 unit and see what's going on with it!...
I recently purchased a 27ST420L/17. It did not come with the remote so I bought one from ebay. The remote seems to work but I have no option to change the inputs. Seems like it is locked down or something. And for some reason, channel 22 is the front a/v input but no channels lead to the back inputs. Reply.
12 wrz 2024 · Screen burn-in is a major issue for CRTs and some components require replacement after many years or decades of use; but, being more “mechanical” than an LCD or OLED set, they are actually fixable.
