Day 8 ends with Taylor resigning from the presidency in disgrace, and Jack becoming a fugitive from both the United States and Russia. Day 9 ends with Audrey taking a bullet from a gunman and dying, a devastated Heller lamenting that soon he won't even be able to remember his daughter, and Jack turning himself in to the Russians to save Chloe.
