  1. 15 maj 2016 · The .223 PPU brass I've worked with was annealed at the factory before the first firing. Quality is higher than Lake City and most domestic stuff (Fed, Win, R-P), but lower than Lapua.

  2. 27 cze 2019 · So, here are results of a small test on a new batch of 1,000 Starline 223 Brass. I sampled 21 new cases for general overall weight, (10) for H20 capacity when new unfired and 25 fired cases. I'm very impressed for the cost ($213 shipped for 1,000 pieces of virgin brass).

  3. 27 sie 2020 · I started out on 223 Rem with range pickup brass. Then started sorting out & using LC brass. Someone on another forum had posted their weight & voljume results by headstamp and found the Starline brass was most consistant.

  4. 5 gru 2022 · Winchester has served me well for calibers not made by Lapua. Only complaint with WW brass was when I had a 220 Swift, the case necks split. Went to Remington, no more neck splits. I have detail prepped a large lot of LC 223 (same headstamp) brass and had very good results.

  5. 17 kwi 2010 · I had wanted to test some Lapua brass for 223's, but the supplier was out of it when I tried ordering it. I do want to try some however; too many guys have great things to say about it to pass on buying some.

  6. 15 cze 2012 · What is the best brass? Should I use “once fired” or “military surplus” brass? Is quality of Lapua brass really worth the added cost? I stumbled upon some info on 6mmBR.com about a year ago containing some data that can be used to compare of brass uniformity between manufacturers.

  7. 10 mar 2015 · On some other reloading sites, there are some bad reviews on reloading FC saying that they are soft and thin and that they shouldn't be reloaded. Most of these bad reviews were back a few years, around 2009. I have shot through 1k and saved the brass. I'd really hate to scrap them.
