  1. Thank you to all Ohioans for taking the time to prepare and file the 2022 Ohio income tax return. You will find some changes this year to Ohio’s income tax filing system. This instruction booklet will explain those changes and how best to fill out your return. Please note some of the changes to Ohio’s income tax for tax year 2022:

  4. While not mandatory, the IT K-1 offers clear, concise reporting information needed by the taxpayer and the Department. Utilizing the IT K-1 correctly can prevent the need to request additional information from the taxpayer.

  5. It is essential this form be printed using the blue “Print” button. DO NOT use the print function built into the web browser. This will result in significant delays and difficulties in processing your return.
