7 lut 2021 · About there weeks ago my dash threw a “Low battery warning” at startup but the car started fine, no cranking, and has ever since. Battery voltage on startup seems to be in the 11s, but then rapidly (less than a second?) rises to between 14.7-15.1.

27 paź 2011 · The battery was pretty new and seemed to be in good condition. The problem turned out to be a faulty relay for the windows, which was staying live even when the ignition was off and drawing just over 0.2A.
2 lip 2024 · If you don't see any significant change in the voltage after you start up the car, then your alternator could be faulty. If the voltage is high at the battery (around 17 volts or higher), then the alternator's regulator is likely faulty and needs to be replaced.

Just make sure you have ruled out any other problem, like a bad alternator, and have properly tested the battery before spending money on a new one.
12 lut 2023 · My 04 CTT has an ongoing battery drain issue that seems somewhat inconsistent in how frequently it occurs. The battery isn't old (replaced late 2021) and is a correct spec AGM. If charged it can last up to a few weeks or a few days before going completely flat and not starting the car.
To test the battery yourself, purchase a simple battery tester such as this one. Open vehicle’s hood, then locate the remote battery terminals on the driver’s side under a plastic cover. Remove the plastic battery terminal cover and attached the battery tester.
