14 paź 2016 · If your 4t has an automatic compression release, you will never get a good compression test number. Usually between 90-120. Leak down test is irrelevant on a 2t.
12 maj 2009 · on the 01 yzf 426 you have a compression release on the handle bars. you bring it to top dead center by pushing down slowly until it stops against the compression. then pull in the compression release go past the point at where it stopped slowly.then release the lever and kick to start.
3 lis 2001 · It's nothing to worry about, just do this... hold the throttle wide open (don't pump it, leave it open) and pull in the comp release and kick it over about 15 times. This clears all the gas out of the cylinder.
16 sty 2006 · You need to find a way to keep it from working. Than try your compression test again. 90 is low. For a new bike, if you stop the auto-decomp lever, it would be pretty hard to kick over - I don't want to mess something else up by doing that, like breaking the kick starter or its gear.
15 mar 2005 · I get 235 PSI with a fresh topend stock compression on my 02 YZ250 (basically the same motor), and I'm at 4200 feet. Are you holding the throttle wide open and kicking it until it won't go any higher?

24 wrz 2005 · I was wondering if their is a compression release on a yz250f. its a 2002. My bike is a bitch and a half to kick it off. it has so much compression. you have to have your ridding boots on or youll break your ankle.
