5 gru 2009 · I looked into the torque arm deal when I painted my Regal. I was going to badge it as a GNX and put a torque arm on it. The problem is the arm is very short, not like an F-body arm.
22 kwi 2009 · The GNX torque arm is one idea. Another is to undersling the arm like the Mustang uses, which gets around having to modify the driveshaft tunnel for more room (depending on torque arm length). It doesn't require a special cover for the axle.
8 gru 2010 · I have the ATS spindles on the front of my GN and actually just ordered a Currie Fab9 today for the rear. How would the GBody kit bolt up to a stock or 9" GBody housing? Would the bracketry need to be welded to the housing?

14 kwi 2014 · The GNX suspension lifts the rear evenly, pushes the nose down, and turns all of that torque into forward motion in a hurry. Both wheels grab equally, and the car goes absolutely straight.
22 lut 2005 · At one time back in the late 80's several companies where trying to market a GNX suspension kit. The rear cover everyone was using was just a flat piece of 1" thick billet aluminum plate with a big hole milled in the middle to clear the ring gear and used the stock rear cover.
Traction control issues, like wheel hop, can usually be cured by a better/stronger set of rear lower trailing arms. Either buy a brand new aftermarket performance set (many manufacturers make these in all shapes, sizes and materials), or modify your OEM versions by adding on a piece of flat steel to the stock arms.
