I have the 20/20 sear and no other trigger mods. Just tried dropping it. So far, no issues. Hammer didn't release from the drops.
I finally installed one of my Christmas presents, a 20/20 Precision Trigger Sear Mod for my AUG A2 and DAMN the trigger is awesome, very little take up and really crisp break. Night and day difference over the service sear as far as trigger pull and feel.
Before ARID came on my radar I had modified the trigger with the 20/20 precision seer and it made a big difference. Over the years I also added the Steyr red springs and the ARID aluminum trigger. I had noticed that ARID recommended against the 20/20 seer due to drop safety and reliability but I thought I knew better and left it in my gun.
29 lut 2012 · The RAT WORX HTM “Hybrid Trigger Mod” is a drop-in replacement for AUG and MSAR trigger packs. At $230 (and with an ongoing waiting list) it is the most expensive AUG trigger “fix” I have seen, but it is also by far the best.
28 kwi 2022 · My trigger pack on a new A3M1 needed to be trimmed in order for the 2020 sear to work. I cut a little at a time with a Dremel bit, until the pink card fit. Took maybe 5 minutes.
13 lis 2018 · Quick question to those of you who have one: is the 20/20 Precision sear mod for the Aug worth the $100.00? I have a trigger tamer which helped quite a bit but there is still room for improvement. What are your thoughts?
I currently have the rat works 20/20 precision sear with a tuned linkage and I thought it made a massive improvement. I was thinking of experimenting with a couple other modifications such as the Arid trigger and Steyr trigger spring upgrade aka the "red springs" and I was wondering if it's safe to do so?
