2023 Update: Looks like the evolved version of this excellent enhancement is now the $100 20/20 Precision Trigger Sear Mod. RAT WORX made the clever design decision to build this upgrade around a standard AR-15 trigger group, which they suggest will allow users to tap the extensive market for AR-15 parts to further customize it.
29 lut 2012 · The RAT WORX HTM “Hybrid Trigger Mod” is a drop-in replacement for AUG and MSAR trigger packs. At $230 (and with an ongoing waiting list) it is the most expensive AUG trigger “fix” I have seen, but it is also by far the best. If you shoot your AUG you should get this trigger pack.
24 mar 2008 · Rat Worx sells an aluminum sear that you put into the trigger pack to replace the plastic sear. All the parts except the pins, springs and safety lever in the AUG trigger pack are plastic oddly enough. The part is not cheap, its $100 for a small piece of metal. I've had good experiences with Rat Worx in the past and don't mind the premium.
19 wrz 2021 · 20/20 Precision Trigger Sear Mod is the best upgrade you can do to your Steyr AUG right away. This product is made by Rat Worx and greatly improves the standard factory trigger. It is easily installed and you will not need any special tools for this upgrade.
13 lis 2018 · Quick question to those of you who have one: is the 20/20 Precision sear mod for the Aug worth the $100.00? I have a trigger tamer which helped quite a bit but there is still room for improvement. What are your thoughts?
28 kwi 2022 · It was an easy install. My trigger pack on a new A3M1 needed to be trimmed in order for the 2020 sear to work. I cut a little at a time with a Dremel bit, until the pink card fit. Took maybe 5 minutes.
Before ARID came on my radar I had modified the trigger with the 20/20 precision seer and it made a big difference. Over the years I also added the Steyr red springs and the ARID aluminum trigger. I had noticed that ARID recommended against the 20/20 seer due to drop safety and reliability but I thought I knew better and left it in my gun.
