29 mar 2007 · You should get the Memory Stick Pro DUO for the H9. The difference is basically the size. Older Sony cameras used the MS pro which is longer. The pro duo is a much smaller card, and it usually comes with an adapter so you could concievably use it for an older Sony cam...but not the other way around...all new Sony cams use the pro duo now.
The Pro Duo is an entirely different memory type than the first gen Pro. It won’t work. While it will be expensive, getting an authentic, vintage, memory card from the era the camera was made is the only reliable way to do it. My P93 can’t handle anything larger than a 1 or 2 GB Pro stick.

29 maj 2006 · Yes, most new card readers should be able to read Duo sticks. Sandisk's 12-in-1 ImageMate can do it and is usually pretty easy to find. Of course, you can also just leave the Memory Stick in the H5 and use an USB cable to transfer the pictures to your computer.
