While not an imageboard itself, The Overchan V.2 maintains an (as up-to-date as humanly possible) list of every English-language imageboard in existence (including furry imageboards and text-based 2ch-esque boards). It's also the closest thing to a worksafe link from this point forward.
Futaba Channel (Japanese: ふたば (双葉)☆ちゃんねる, Hepburn: Futaba Channeru, "Double Leaf Channel", "Two Leaf Channel"), or Futaba for short, also sometimes called 2chan, is a Japanese imageboard. Users of the website can upload pictures and discuss a wide variety of topics, from daily personal problems to sports, ramen, otaku and underground culture.
Most imageboards and 2channel -style discussion boards allow (and encourage) anonymous posting and use a system of tripcodes instead of registration. A tripcode is the hashed result of a password that allows one's identity to be recognized without storing any data about users.
2channel (Japanese: 2ちゃんねる, Hepburn: ni channeru), also known as 2ch, [5] Channel 2, [6] [7] and sometimes retrospectively as 2ch.net, [8] was an anonymous Japanese textboard [b] founded in 1999 by Hiroyuki Nishimura.
Everychan Android (Meta Imageboard Client) is an application for browsing imageboards. Open the source code directory and run (in the command line): The .apk file (bin/Everychan-debug.apk) will be signed with the debug key. NDK path cannot contain any spaces but you can use the short name of the path (example: C:\Program Files → C:\PROGRA~1).
