7 wrz 2012 · When pressing in the clutch pedal, there is a rod attached to the top of it that travels horizontally over the brake and accelerator then drops down to the Clutch Safety Switch which is located behind and above the accelerator pedal.
9 lut 2020 · automatic trucks have the wire for the clutch safety switch tucked up under the dash with a little box at the end. if you pull that box off and put it on your truck it will start without having to push the clutch. like I said though the clutch will no longer deactivate the cruise. my 94 has 6 wires but I don’t know about the older trucks.

12 maj 2002 · There are six wires on this plug in connector that contains the clutch Interlock switch, (this Interlock Switch is attached to the clutch hydraulic plunger piston near the top of the clutch pedal stalk underneath the firewall inside the drivers compartment).

8 lut 2020 · Have looked all over, can't find a schematic or information that matches the wire colors on this switch. All wires are the same gauge. from front (closest to firewall)
2 paź 2006 · Most likely what is happening is the clutch linkage is worn out. I believe you can put in new bushings or some people have replaced the entire assembly to fix it. 1990 extended cab, 4X4, five speed. Clutch safety switch is merely a symptom of bad clutch hydraulics.
