17 sie 2023 · From the factory, Chrysler rated the standard 340 from 1968–1970 at 275 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque. In the 1970 340 six-pack, that jumped to 290 horsepower and 345 lb-ft of torque. Power dropped starting in 1972, when Chrysler began using SAE Net power ratings.

17 lip 2015 · Lightweight aluminum cylinder heads flow gobs of air with help from a special cam grind from Ray Barton. A single-plane intake manifold keeps the air coming at high rpm (Mopar recommends a 850 or 900 cfm carburetor) but the engine works great with Mopar Cross Ram intake (sold separately).
