24 kwi 2010 · Also, from your reverse description it sounds like VAM 1R (VAMworld - 1921-D VAM-1R) might match. VAM 1X would be very easy to spot, there is a huge cud on the obverse (as shown in the VAMworld pictures.

15 cze 2006 · The Pitted Reverses plus the Tailbar varieties would make a nice 1921P subset as probably the most prominent errors; the Thornheads and VAM-6A/6B are the obvious choice for 1921S. I wouldn't think of suggesting something other than Rob's ideas for 1921D's. I think the 1921 Top Ten would have to be a Top 25.
The upshot of all this is the fact that the 1921-D VAM 1X late die state made it into the Hit List 40 precisely because of its breathtaking die break features. Few would question the fact that the VAM 1X (now VAM 1X2) is the most dramatic shattered die known for the entire Morgan dollar series.
