24 kwi 2010 · Also, from your reverse description it sounds like VAM 1R (VAMworld - 1921-D VAM-1R) might match. VAM 1X would be very easy to spot, there is a huge cud on the obverse (as shown in the VAMworld pictures.
The upshot of all this is the fact that the 1921-D VAM 1X late die state made it into the Hit List 40 precisely because of its breathtaking die break features. Few would question the fact that the VAM 1X (now VAM 1X2) is the most dramatic shattered die known for the entire Morgan dollar series.

15 cze 2006 · Sometimes it is a no brainer: 1921-D VAM-1X. There can't be buckets out there of that massive break so it is an R7 lock. Others, say for instance the 1921-D VAM-1AT "Jet O" look like another common die break. It however is tremendously rare. No way to tell when you first see the discovery piece.
