So for my use case, the 15" Air is the better machine. Lightweight, portable, performant enough for me, and a really pretty laptop. The 16" Pro is objectively better, but I couldn't justify the cost of even the 14" for my use case.

The Pro’s definitely have the better specs, but what both Pro models waffle a bit on when compared to their Air counterparts is weight. When compared to a 16” MacBook Pro, the 15” Air is significantly lighter which can make a difference if you are carrying your laptop around for extended periods
