30 wrz 2024 · The 11 meter band is used by both CB radio, as well as freeband unlicensed hobbyists, Church radio broadcasts in Ireland and elsewhere in Europe, the military, for studio-to-transmitter links (STLs), data links, buoys, fishnet tracking systems, pagers and other non-voice purposes.
SSB radios will transmit and receive the standard channels along with lower sideband and upper sideband channels, giving you more channels to operate on. Another benefit of SSB radios is additional power.
4 mar 2009 · I have heard packet mode on the DX band of 11 meters above channel 40. My question is about the other modes such as JT65, FT8, Olivia or RTTY and more. Since the FCC has loosened the distance restriction stands to reason the rest of 11 meters should be less strapped.

22 lut 2019 · #1. OK I've decided to consider buying one last mobile Cb 11 meter radio and this is the features I want it to have. AM/SSB /FM with USB connection and weather channels. I want it to work in this country with no mods done to it. What are my options and is there anything out there for around $300.00 or less? w9cll. W9WDX Amateur Radio Club Member.
22 lut 2019 · Been into 11 meters for a while but not so much with SSB because back in the day I couldn't afford a side band radio. So got to wondering about realistic range you could expect to talk on a SSB channel running Barefoot or just 12 watts.
