28 cze 2010 · Armor Crystal of Aquatic Action: By far the cheapest magic item for functioning with a non-aquatic race in an aquatic campaign. Whirling Weapon: Whirlwind Attack sucks because of prerequisite feats, and because you don't really need it that often.
While most magic armors only have enhancement bonuses some also have special abilities. Armor or shields with a special ability must have at least a +1 enhancement bonus. Armor and shields can also have multiple abilities, so long as the requirements for the abilities do not conflict.
Magic armor bonuses are enhancement bonuses, never rise above +5, and stack with regular armor bonuses (and with shield and magic shield enhancement bonuses). All magic armor is also masterwork armor, reducing armor check penalties by 1.
Each of these suits of armor is a specific armor enhanced by magic and the necromantic energies of the undead used in its creation. Anyone can wear undead armor, although those with the appropriate armor proficiency gain the most benefit.
This armor form a protective barrier around you, powered by your mental faculties. Armor with this enhancement can absorb up to 20 points of damage from any physical ranged attack (including siege weapons or massive weapons), after which any damage beyond it taken normally.
2 wrz 2007 · #1. As my adventure with my players progresses, I know it's only a matter of time before they will want to suppliment their armour with magic defence bonuses. This could be either in the form of enhancement bonuses to the armour that they wear themselves, to amulets, bracers and rings. And this is where the trouble for me begins.
29 sty 2021 · Any minor property form the DMG can be made into a common item according to Xanathar's. My favourites are strange material (so like half-plate made of wood or scale armor made of jade) for druids and temperate (wearer can ignore temperatures between -20 F and 120 F) for adventuring in extreme climates.
