21 lip 2014 · A good upgrade to such a new OS X from Snow Leopard 10.6.8, would be a. refurbished MacBook/Pro 13-inch mid 2010 from reputable reseller online, or. a MacBook Pro 13-inch 2012 (-without retina, +with optical drive) & UPgrade. These come equipped to run Mavericks and should also handle Yosemite.
31 lip 2014 · The choice is really between Snow Leopard and Mavericks; Lion and Mountain Lion are the ones to skip for performance reasons. For a machine with decent specs such as yours, there's nothing you'll lose out on by upgrading.
