14 maj 2015 · I ask this because 1.8 has alot of bugs in it and 1.8.4 has many of them fixed, this shouldn't be too hard nor effect modders too badly except that they will have to re-compile with the new version of forge if it comes out and 1.8.4 is after all compatible with older 1.8.X versions! So to your actual question: No, you cannot run Forge with Minecraft 1.8.4 because the Minecraft obfuscation table changes with each release (no matter how minor the change). You will need to use Optifine for Minecraft 1.8.0 to use it with Forge.
