TC Series true union ball check valves are offered in PVC, CPVC, and PP. O-rings and seats are FPM or EPDM. 1/4 in. and 3/8 in. sizes are PVC only and are trim check design. They have socket or threaded end connections.
Check valves are used in systems to prevent backflow. The valves can come equipped in two different ways. The first way is with a floating ball in it that will check-up inside the valve once the flow is stopped in the system.
Check valves are available from ½” to 4” sizes in PVC, CPVC, ABS, PP, PVDF are unidirectional and should be used whenever there is a need to prevent back-flow of process media.
To reduce installation time and allow for maintenance without detaching pipe connections, these valves have union fittings. The plastic body and fluoroelastomer seal provide excellent chemical resistance.
