In my quest to get as much Johnny Winter on vinyl as I can, I noticed that his brother Edgar's 1972 live album with his White Trash band has Johnny's name on the cover as a featured player. So I thought why not? I'm glad I got it. Now a heads up, Johnny is only on one track, a barnstorming rendition of "Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo".

The album was fairly successful, featuring cover artwork by Jack Davis of MAD Magazine and fueled by the video for "Apple Pie", which was in heavy rotation on MTV's Buzz Bin. The song reached No. 39 on Billboard ' s Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, while the album charted at No. 122 on the Billboard 200.
