Journeyman is the eleventh solo studio album by Eric Clapton. Heralded as a return to form for Clapton, who had struggled with alcohol addiction and recently found sobriety, the album has a 1980s electronic sound, but it also includes blues songs like "Before You Accuse Me", "Running on Faith", and "Hard Times."

Journeyman is a masterpiece. One of the top three albums of his career. It starts with the Classic "Pretending" where EC uses the wah wah to perfection. His guitar is probably his strongest since Layla CD. "Anything for your Love" sounds like an experiment but has a charm of its own.
13 mar 2014 · The second side begins with another Williams-penned pop song, “No Alibis” – perhaps the poppiest song on the album. Still, it has a nice, steady, deliberate approach to it and good harmonies featuring Chaka Khan and Daryl Hall.
