I've got some more NVMe drives from Series X consoles to browse. The first thing I've noticed is from the first screenshot above. There is 1GB at the end of the drive that appears unformatted and unused.

6 gru 2023 · My Xbox series x will no longer install disks ,or read some disks. I was able to get one game to install, and load, but that’s it. Is there any way for me to fix this?
Try the solution below if a disc is stuck in the disc drive and won't come out: Restart the Xbox console. Press the eject button next to the disc slot. Use the controller to open the guide. Select Home, highlight the inserted disc, and press the X button to eject the disc.
I have a series x with a seagate 8tb game drive hub connected as well as a 500gb Samsung t3 SSD. Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed that the seagate drive is spinning up and being accessed while playing games off of my internal SSD or my samsung external SSD.
27 mar 2024 · Since only Cyberpunk 2077 is able to be read and spin, it's possible that the issue may be related to the specific disc drive or laser diode used in the manufacturing of your console. I would recommend reaching out to Xbox Support directly for further assistance.
16 sie 2022 · One of the first things to try if your Xbox Series X is having a hard time reading discs is to perform a hard reset, which is sometimes also called a hard power cycle, according to Microsoft....
You will need a double 0 (zero) phillips to get the daughter board and optical drive out. They are a smaller phillips than the screws in the disc drive case which are a zero or #1 phillips will work. You also need a T8 torx to get the back cover off and a plastic retainer holding disc drive in case.
