13 maj 2021 · The beep sound that occurs when I max out the volume setting from my headphone adapter on my controller still plays through the headphones but no other sounds. What I've already tried: -Unplugged and plugged in headset. -Turned controller off and on with headset unplugged then plugged back in. -Updated my controller.
13 wrz 2024 · If your Xbox One controller won't recognize your headset, first make sure the headset isn't muted and increase the console audio input. Then, clean the controller and headset, update the controller firmware, and power cycle the console.
24 maj 2021 · No sound when I plug on to controller. 2 week old xbox, it worked once for about 5 minutes and then cut out. Controller is updated. I have plugged directly in to controller with usb into to xbox.

If your Xbox console is connected to an audio-video receiver that's connected to your TV and you have no sound, follow these steps: Use the Input button on your TV’s remote control to switch the input source of your receiver away from the console and then back (for example, HDMI1 to HDMI2, then back to HDMI1).
To fix this, simply press the xbox button, scroll left to the SYSTEM PAGE, if you have a headset or headphones plugged in then the AUDIO tab should appear (give it a few seconds to show up). Once you press AUDIO, select HEADSET CHAT MIXER and move the controll button to the left and that should do it.
