2 lis 2022 · Sudden performance drop: high temperature on the GPU or CPU can cause a big reduction in performance which can be seen as a big FPS drop sometime after turning the game on (and PC shutdown in extreme situations). Check if fans are spinning, and clean dust.

Luckyone961 made a post over on X, formerly Twitter, explaining these issues in detail along with providing steps to help alleviate some of the FPS drops players might be experiencing.
For everyone who has issues with FPS drops, I found the solution! And it's simple - just turn off render scale (set it to default 100%) and turn off FidelityFX Super Resolution. My FPS in raiding environment increased from 30-40 to 80+.
26 paź 2022 · Many players have been experiencing performance issues since the pre-patch arrived, specifically with FPS drops and stuttering. However, there seems to be a workaround to disable one specific graphics option which is helping some players, although not fixing it entirely for others.
19 lip 2024 · If there are no problems, corrupt data in your game files can cause technical issues with wow specifically. Consider resetting your UI. If you’re having connection problems with a specific game or service, everything you connect to has a different IP address.
3 lip 2021 · Try unchecking the new Target FPS option in the Advanced tab of the system settings. It doesn’t fix the map/quest update stutter issue but it did fix other general FPS issues I was having with this patch.
