A world map of countries by oil exportation, 2022. This is a list of oil-producing countries by oil exports based on data for 2022 by CEIC. Oil in this list refers to base crude oil only, and not refined petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel and airplane fuel.
The top 5 exporters of crude oil in 2023 were Saudi Arabia, Russia, United States of America, United Arab Emirates then Canada. Combined, those 5 major crude oil sources supplied just over one-half (50.8%) of global exports for crude petroleum oil.
