13 kwi 2010 · In reply to A. User's post on April 13, 2010. If you have the disc for Office Professional 2003 then copy the contents on the disc to a flash drive (Pen drive) using another computer. Once the contents are copied try installing Office 2003 on the new laptop using the flash drive. For Office 2003 licensing and terms, refer to the following link:
2 maj 2024 · Interestingly, when I installed Office 2003 on a new Windows 11 computer, I expected to have to find a way to download the Compatibility Pack, but the first time I tried to open a .docx, it just did it! (With a message, occasionally, but it did/does open it.)
11 lut 2016 · Dan at IT Associates. Replied on February 11, 2016. Report abuse. IIRC the only big issue when installing Office 2003 on Windows 8/8.1/10 is with Outlook 2003. I think the cryptography used in Outlook 2003 to support saving email account passwords is not compatible with W8/8.1/10 so you would have to constantly enter your password to check email.

26 sty 2013 · I have office 2003. When trying to download a newer version Word document with extension 'docx' I am told to download a compatibility pack. Having done so I try to download the same document and I get the same message again. Looks pretty useless, in particular as I am not instructed how to make the pack work.

23 lip 2018 · I was directed here by the agent at Microsoft support chat. I own a full version of Office 2003 and still have the CD-ROM and Product Key. However, the CD drive on my laptop doesn't work for some reason and I am hoping there's a way to download the files to install on my PC. Please help with this. Thanks.
