11 sie 2010 · I cannot find any way to repair my WSH installation on XP SP3 nor any advice on doing so manually. I guess I can still break down and do a repair install on the OS but I've never needed to do that before in almost 20 years of Windows computing.
VBScript support (Windows Scripting Host, as far as I understand) seems to be been broken on my system (for example, when I run a Microsoft FixIt tool it doesn't work and complains that "There is no script engine for file extension .vbs.").
