18 paź 2019 · Also consider using a virtual machine- e.g. free VirtualBox- install and run e.g. XP in that (imaging installing, booting up and shutting down XP within a Win 10 window).
23 maj 2007 · After some help from fellow MSFN members (especially SubMix8c) i have cracked the driver packs for Win98/ME method! It wasn't hard in the end, just a matter of adding a line to msbatch.inf and writing some code to extract the packs, and then delete them after.

9 wrz 2021 · That means you have to find a copy of Windows 95 or 98 to install. Once you have installed Windows, you can then install any software that you could install on that version of Windows, like your games.
To locate the drivers you want to install for a device, select which of the driver types you wish to use (VCP or D2XX) and then locate the appropriate operating systems. With the exception of Windows 98 and Windows ME, all devices are supported in each driver package.
14 paź 2014 · You're now in your fresh new Windows 98SE install 😎. NOTES: Install unofficial 48-bit LBA patch from mdgx's site http://www.mdgx.com/files/ATADRV98.EXE. After installing you can now re-enable 32-bit protected-mode disk drivers (clear the checkbox which you previously selected in last step), have DMA for HDD, and access your CD-rom drive.
