20 lis 2022 · 1. A clean install is recommended than uninstalled Dell apps. Just do not delete dell factory restore partition on hdd. If you prefer not to clean install, then uninstall Dell support assist which is Dell bloatware and risky. 2. do not let windows auto update. Thus back to point 1.
Wipe with a Windows ISO and install clean. Then only install Dell software if absolutely necessary, such as Alienware Command Centre but leave the rest out.
Nothing is required. And you no longer need Dell Support Assist as all Dell drivers are available as Optional Windows Updates - just enable that in your Windows Updates settings (under Advanced) and it'll sort your drivers. Dell Power Manager just configures the power features that are in the BIOS, so you can always adjust them in there.
30 gru 2022 · When I receive a new Dell system, or any system for that matter, I always do a clean Windows install to get rid of the bloatware. As far as SA is concerned, it you do not mind checking for drivers or updates once in a while (leave the BIOS updates alone) then by all means uninstall SA.
Hi, picked up a inspiron 5515 and would like to remove all the Dell bloatware. I cam across some posts that said to just reinstall windows then install what ever drivers I need. Does anyone have a good guide for this?
